Hernan Nieves Ferry specializes in intellectual property, competition law, and consumer protection. He has experience representing suppliers in administrative proceedings related to consumer protection, unfair competition, and intellectual property. He also provides advice on trademark registration procedures, as well as on oppositions, cancellations, trademark infringements, and copyright matters.

He also provides legal consulting and advice to companies in various industries on matters related to unfair competition and consumer protection regulations, helping to prevent legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance.

He holds a law degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. He has a Second Specialization in Consumer Protection from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru and a certificate from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (OEPM) for the Summer Course on Industrial Property and the UN’s 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. He was a fellow in INDECOPI’s University Extension Program (2024).

He is a member of the Lima Bar Association. He has served on the Board of Directors of the THĒMIS Civil Association and as Director of the THĒMIS Legal Publishing House.
