José Ricardo Jesús Ticona is an associate in the Intellectual Property, Competition, Consumer Protection, and Personal Data practice area. He advises domestic and foreign companies, as well as consumer goods companies and startups, on managing audits and enforcement proceedings before administrative authorities. He has experience reviewing advertising materials, handling consumer complaints and claims, and developing strategies to defend and represent clients before entities such as INDECOPI, OSIPTEL, and the National Authority for Personal Data Protection.
She also participates in conducting compliance assessments and implementing processes to ensure compliance with personal data protection regulations, developing risk matrices related to competition, consumer protection, and privacy, and delivering specialized training for companies in these areas.
Previously, he served as an associate at a law firm specializing in corporate legal counsel.
He is a member of the Lima Bar Association and a graduate of the Administrative Law Research Workshop (TIDA). He earned his law degree from the National University of San Marcos, defending his thesis titled “The Application of Client-Attorney Privilegein communications collected during inspection visits conducted by INDECOPI as the competition authority,” which was approved with a grade of twenty (20) and highest honors.
